The Man Who Shot President Reagan Has Been Released

The man who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981, John Hinkley, was released today from a residential mental health facility. Do you remember where you were when you heard the news that the president had been shot? I was in the locker room at North Country Union High School in Newport. I think I was there leading up to, or following, track practice. To watch a video of the shooting click here.
