Words of Praise From Our Readers

****Scott Wheeler and the Northland Journal are a great asset to the Northeast Kingdom. Scott does a great job with uncovering so many interesting stories and facts about the Northeast Kingdom.

George Aiken loved the Northeast Kingdom and always kept abreast of what was going on up there. I love the region, particularly Island Pond area. People always greeted us with open arms.

Congratulations on five years of preserving the history of the Kingdom, Scott

Lola Aiken – (Mrs. Aiken, who is one of my dear friends, is the widow of the late great Vermont governor turned U.S. senator, George Aiken. Mr. Aiken was the man who helped tell the world about the Northeast Kingdom

****Scott, if there were only more people like you. You donate so much time to your community. Some people know how to talk the talk, well, you know how to walk the walk. Thank you for the Northland Journal.

****The Journal brings back so many memories of when I was young, a whole long time ago.
